TLT50: Bio

TLT50

I'm keyboardist Larry Talbot of TLT50,Talbot Bros. Band and Wherewolf Studio Productions
.........................................................................

I started at an early age playing trumpet and piano, but it wasn't long before guitar became my instrument of choice.Rock and roll baby !! At 13 my best friend (Tom Cypher) and I formed a band,a true garage band. After
some years of playing guitar and occassionally keyboard,I traded all my guitar gear for a Hammond B-3 organ.Playing in a variety of bands full time sharpened my skills as a keyboard player, but jammin' with a drummer and/or bass player(Steven E. Rogers,Steve Rall) laid the foundation for writing and arranging my own music.I had to sell the Hammond (big mistake) but always had an old upright piano to play around on...Before I continue......
I'd like to mention the drummers I've been
fortunate to tag along with. Starting with the earliest etc. Tom Cypher (EXCELS), Dave Robel (Fifth street Underground) Fred Reddick,
Mike Loos(The shades of soul),Tommy Alesio(The Collections),D.R.Doc Mullet (Schmutt) and 2/3 others i'm sure.Dave Robel-Tijuana Gigolos.......Doc Mullet
Blues Party... are still going strong ......

In 1990,with the purchase of a computer,
sound card, midi controller and a sequencing
program,I started making music again.Amazed
at the possibilities,I spent more and more time learning and experimenting with this type
of music production. As time and money allow-
ed I continually upgraded my meager studio and expertice.Writing, arranging ,recording and producing music became a passion.
The passion for making music is a very powerful force. If you can rule your passions,
desires and fears perhaps success will come your way. With that in mind, armed with faith, determination and the love of music,I hope to progress in a positive direction.
Be well and take care....Larry Talbot
